Characteristics
ZEOLITE is a product of mineral origin, totally natural and particularly suitable and effective on plants through foliar applications, in order to promote the strengthening of leaves and stems against temperature leaps and direct sunrays. Its mineral elements and micronutrients help the strengthening of plants.
Besides, it carries out a mechanic action (physical barrier) against pathogen insects and fungal attacks; thanks to its hygroscopic characteristics it can also act as a dehydrator by drying out the external part of plants and so reducing the risks of parasites.
Zeolite is a mineral with high level of Cation-exchange capacity (CEC) and water potential, therefore it is particularly apt for penetrating the soil and so better retaining water and nutritional elements, which are later gradually released. Given the high affinity with sodium ions, Zeolite helps lowering the salinity.
