Product Description
Genabil is recommended in the treatment of primary or secondary indigestion, in which a stimulant of the gastrointestinal tract and the secretion of the digestive glands, especially of the bile secretion, is necessary. It also stimulates the secretion of gastric and pancreatic juice.
Intravenous administration will be slow. Intramuscularly, it is recommended to administer a volume of less than 20 ml in a single injection site. Horses should be administered only slowly intravenously.
Cattle: Unbalanced diet (feed change, food poisoning), rumen congestion, constipation, gastritis, anorexia (stimulation of digestion in case of loss of appetite), liver atrophy and liver degenerative changes, ketosis and tympany.
Sheep: It is recommended in gestational toxemia and other diseases similar to those in cattle.
Horses: Colic due to unbalanced diet, constipation, flatulence. Enteritis followed by constipation.
Dogs: Anorexia (loss of appetite), constipation, degenerative liver disease.

Characteristics
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Not to be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
It will not be used in case of chronic paresis and heart failure.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Intravenous administration
Treated animals may experience transient gastrointestinal disorders (bloating), chills, coughing, tearing, licking, mild dyspnea, urination, and frequent defecation immediately after treatment.
Intramuscular administration
Edema and necrosis may occur locally, without changes in general condition.
If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not mentioned, please inform your veterinarian.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: 3 days.
Milk: 2 days;
USE DURING PREGNANCY, LACTATION:
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
OVERDOSE:
In case of over-dosage, symptomatic treatment is required.
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Do not store above 30°C. Protect from light.
Shelf life after first opening of the container: 28 days.

Dosage and Instructions
A dose of 10 mg menbutone per kg body weight will be administered, equivalent to 1 ml Genabil per 10-20 kg body weight
A new dose can be given after 24 hours.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CORRECT ADMINISTRATION:
When administering Genabil intravenously, body temperature should be measured.
When a larger volume of Genabil is given intramuscularly, the dose should be divided into several injection sites.
