INDICATIONS
In cattle , sheep , horses , rabbits , dogs and cats:
Prevention and treatment of hypocalcaemia such as milk fever ,parturient paresis , grass tetany eclampsia.

CONTRA INDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with heart disorders.
ADVERS EEFFECTS
During intramuscular or subcutaneous administration, local tissue reactions at the injection site may be observed. Too rapid intravenous administration can cause cardiac arrhythmia and lead to fatal collapse. Symptoms of hypercalcaemia can occur during the 30 minutes after administration (tremors , excitation sweating , hypotonia and collapse).
SPECIAL WARNINGS
Special warnings for each target species : None.
Special precautions for use in animals : The solution must be warmed to body temperature before administration . Intravenous administration must beslow, and stopped immediately if side effects occur . During intramuscular or subcutaneous administration, divide the dose between several injection sites to limit local reactions.
The use and reuse of this product must undergo benefit/risk evaluation depending on possible previous treatments ,in particular calcium based treatments.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicinal product to animals
None.
Use during pregnancy or lactation: The safety of the medicinal product has not been evaluated in the target species during pregnancy and lactation . However, the use of the medicinal product during pregnancy and lactation does not pose a particular problem.

Incompatibilities: Compatibility with another medicinal product must be checked before mixing to prevent precipitate from forming.
