The mechanism of action:
Penicillin and Penethamate are beta-lactam antibiotics that disrupt the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall by inhibiting the trans-peptidation reaction required to form a strong cell wall, destroying the integrity of the bacterial cell wall and causing the bacterium to disintegrate.
Framycetin is a bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic that kills bacteria by disrupting bacterial ribosome function, bacterial protein secretion, and cell membrane permeability.
